You're reading: Ukraine asks Israel to pay compensation to Ukrainian family of two killed in Palestine

Ukraine is expecting that Israeli authorities pay out a compensation to the family of a Ukrainian woman and her two-year-old child killed in Palestine, reads a statement made by the Foreign Affairs Ministry press service.

“Ukraine is awaiting Israeli authorities to carry out a thorough inquiry about circumstances of the tragedy, provide necessary aid to affected children and also pay out a compensation to the family of the killed people,” the ministry says in the statement.

The ministry stressed, Ukraine was painful to know about the death of a Ukrainian woman and her two-year-old child in the Gaza Strip, and informed that another two children had sustained severe wounds and were taken to hospital.

The Foreign Ministry is concerned over the rowing sides are continuing escalation of violence, in contempt of numerous calls from the global communities, including Ukraine, which leads to the civilians death toll constantly growing.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, a Ukrainian citizen and her two-year-old child were killed and her 12-year-old daughter was hospitalized as a result of an Israeli tank shell hit her home near Tufi in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip (Palestinian territories).

Sixty-five Ukrainian citizens have expressed the desire to evacuate from the Gaza Strip.
