Emergencies Ministers of Ukraine and Azerbaijan Volodymyr Shandra and Kamaladdin Heydarov signed a cooperation agreement in Baku on Friday, Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry spokesman Ihor Kril has told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that the agreement foresees a joint action plan for 2009-2011. He also said that the rescuers of both countries would cooperate in the prevention of emergency situations as part of an interstate agreement on cooperation.
