Ukraine and Croatia are intending to cooperate in realization of their ambitions to join the European Union.

Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the Ukrainian Embassy in Croatia.

The memo on mutual understanding in the questions of Eurointegration between the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Croatian Foreign Ministry was signed in Zagreb on May 25 by Ukrainian Ambassador to Croatia Markiyan Lubkivskyi and Foreign Ministry State Secretary Davor Bozinovic.

The memo envisages wide bilateral cooperation, including exchange of experience in the questions of integration with the European Union, bilateral consultations and exchange of groups of experts to study the work of state institutions in the field.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine and Croatia advocate more active coordination of efforts in the field of joining the European Union and NATO.
