Ukraine plans to create a company to manage state enterprises, which will not be privatized in coming years, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius has said.

“We’re moving towards the creation of a state holding to manage all enterprises that will not be privatized in the next two years and which are not budget-supported enterprises or companies of the regulatory area – UkSATSE [State Air Traffic Services Enterprise] and similar companies, the companies that are to be managed from a central office,” the minister told reporters after a cabinet meeting on Nov. 11.

He said that the issue is being agreed, and the question is only how many state enterprises should be – 20, 50 or 100, taking into account the situation.

Abromavicius said that the state is not efficient manager.
