HOLOS UKRAINY

– Prime Minister Viktor Yushchenko has paid an official visit to Brussels for talks on Ukraine's cooperation with the European Union. He says the results of the negotiations inspire optimism.

– Municipal electricity company Kyivenergo set Hr 0.55 hryvnias per share in dividends on its 1999 results.

– The paper says bread prices have jumped sharply in eastern regions of the country.

– Ukrainian and Russian consular departments have agreed that Ukrainian citizens would require international passports to visit Russia. Ukrainians were previously allowed to enter Russia just showing their local passports.

KYIVSKIE VEDOMOSTY

– Viktor Rzhatkevich, head of the state company Ukrresursy, has said Azerbaijan will renew diesel supplies to Ukraine on June 1.
