You're reading: Ukraine’s cabinet adopts 2010 draft budget

Kyiv, September 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has adopted the draft state budget for 2010 basing on the macroeconomic indicators' forecast it had passed earlier, Ukraine's Acting Finance Minister Ihor Umansky has said.

He said that the draft budget envisages the receipts at UAH 285 billion, outlays at UAH 324 billion, the deficit of 3.97% of GDP. The budget is estimated at UAH 46.7 billion, including UAH 24.8 billion in the general fund and UAH 21.9 billion in the special fund.

The government plans domestic borrowings in 2010 at UAH 120 billion, foreign borrowings – at UAH 16 billion.

The budget relies on the average yearly gas price of $260 per 1,000 cubic meters.
