Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko chaired a cabinet meeting onFeb. 11in her first public appearance since last weekend's presidential election, in which she has refused to concede defeat to Victor Yanukovych.
The fiery 49-year-old prime minister began the meeting by discussing agriculture. Yanukovich called on her onFeb. 10to resign as prime minister.
Tymoshenko’s camp is contesting results of Sunday’s election that gave Yanukovych, a 59-year-old ex-mechanic, a 3.48 percentage point margin of victory, tilting the former Soviet republic back toward Russia five years after its pro-Western Orange Revolution.
