The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service has reported that all checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border are working normally.

“All checkpoints are working normally, with the exception of those
closed by the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers,” the press service for the
Ukrainian Border Guard Service told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the report, citizens and road vehicles are moving through the checkpoints without any restrictions.

In early June, the Ukrainian Cabinet approved the decision to close
eight checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Russian border in Luhansk and Donetsk
regions. In accordance with the decision, the following checkpoints
were closed: Dolzhansky (Luhansk region), Chervonopartyzansk (Luhansk
region), Chervona Mohyla (Luhansk region), Novoborovtsi (Luhansk
region), Krasnodarsky (Donetsk), Krasnodarsky (Nizhny Shvyriov),
Severny, and Marynivka (Donetsk region).

A source in the Russian Border Guard Service told Interfax-Ukraine
earlier on Friday that Ukrainian border guards had unilaterally closed
the checkpoint Schebekino-Pletenivka (Belhorod region) to citizens,
citing border demarcation.
