You're reading: Ukrainian Cabinet approves plan for implementation of trade provisions of EU Association Agreement

The Ukrainian government has approved a plan of measures to implement Section IV, Trade and Trade-Related Matters, of its Association Agreement with the European Union, the Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade said on Feb. 22.

The Cabinet approved the document at its meeting on Feb. 18. The plan sets out in detail the tasks in areas such as tariff liberalization, technical regulation, state purchasing, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, intellectual property, customs matters and trade assistance, liberalization of trade in services, and competition policy.
