Famous playwright Hanna Mashutina (pseudonym Yablonska) was killed in the bomb attack at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport, according to the editor of the Cinema Art magazine, Daniil Dondurey.

"Her real name is Hanna Mashutina, [and] her name is on the Emergencies Ministry’s list of those killed," Dondurey told Interfax on Tuesday.

He noted that Mashutina left for Moscow to receive the Personal Affair prize established by Cinema Art.

"Everybody liked her Pagans play so much so that they decided to award [the prize], although this prize is for the best script. This is a tragedy, as she was supposed to arrive for a joyful occasion," Dondurey said.

He also said that her husband had already been informed about this, and he had left Odesa for Moscow.
