Foreign Minister of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said he intends to propose new approaches to the information policy of the foreign ministry.

Poroshenko said this in Kyiv on Tuesday at a plenary sitting of the
ninth meeting of heads of Ukrainian diplomatic establishments abroad,
which was attended by the president.

“Sometimes we feel that an information war is unleashed against our
state, and we are defeated. Today, of course, we will propose new
approaches on information work, as the process of globalization makes
foreign policy transparent,” Poroshenko said.

According to him, experts and journalists very often try to comment on any signed document.

“Such an attitude to the activity of diplomacy requires the high
professionalism from us and makes us fully responsible. That’s why we
should explain our actions not only to the interested persons, but also
to those who are uninitiated, and thus win this struggle,” the minister
said.
