The volume of state financing of the space industry in 2010 is estimated at UAH 218.09 million, which is 15.3% less than in 2009.
According to the government’s draft state budget for 2010, which was
published on the Verkhovna Rada’s Web site on Wednesday, the volume of
state financing of the sector for the next year is projected at UAH
214.24 million, and UAH 3.85 million will be allocated from the special
budget fund.
The financing of applied scientific and scientific and technical
projects, as well as work on state programs and government orders in
the space industry is projected at UAH 0.6 million.
A total of UAH 117.68 million is to be allocated to monitoring and
testing space facilities, including UAH 114.69 million from the joint
fund and UAH 2.99 million from the special budget fund.
A total of UAH 80.54 million is foreseen to service loans attracted
for the Tsyklon-4 rocket project at the Alcantara (Brazil) space
center. The total of UAH 0.5 million from the special budget fund is to
be allocated for the disposal of ammunition unfit for further use.
