Ukrainian president to attend opening ceremony for Donbass Arena stadium

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko will make a working visit to Donetsk region on Saturday, August 29, his press service reported.

The head of state will visit a chapel of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara in Donetsk and then participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Donbass Arena, a new football stadium in the city.

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn are also expected to attend the ceremony.
