During the talks it is planned to discuss the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of Ukraine and Russia in both countries; implementing the regulations of the Consular convention between Ukraine and Russia of 1993; implementing the regulations of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Russian government on a visa free regime for citizens of January 16, 1997 and the protocol on amending the agreement of October 30, 2004.
The sides will also discuss the contractual and legal regulation of
employment, the provision of citizens of Ukraine and Russia with
pensions and social security in both countries; issues of citizenship;
implementing the regulations of the Convention on legal aid and legal
relations in civil, family and crime cases of January 22, 1993; and the
issue of consular presence on the territories of the two states.
