You're reading: Ukrainian soldiers will get 9,000 land plots in Kyiv Oblast

The general directorate of the State Land Cadaster in Kyiv Oblast has issued 9,000 permits to war-torn participants for obtaining land plots in the region, the press service of the agency has said.

“The total area of land plots that will be given to military men is 1.293 hectares. Most sites are designed for gardening – 8,718 sites with a total area of 959 hectares,” reads a press release.

According to its data, war-torn participants received the majority of permits for the development of design documentation in Vyshgorod district – 1,335, of whom 365 completed the procedure of registration of land ownership.

“A total of 2,254 servicemen in Kyiv region have completed land registration. The total area of land is 350 hectares. The vast majority [2,197] of land plots are intended for gardening,” reads the report.

In general, 11,500 soldiers filed applications for getting land to the territorial bodies of the State Land Cadaster in Kyiv Oblast.
