Some 200 citizens of Ukraine cannot leave the airport of Frankfort on the Main (Germany) for the Germany-based Lufthansa airline company's delaying its flight to Kyiv.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the Consulate General of Ukraine in Frankfort on the Main, the flight to Kyiv has been delayed by an indefinite period.
According to the statement, Lufthansa refuses to transfer Ukrainian citizens to flights to Kyiv performed by other foreign airline companies.
In this connection the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has sent an official letter to the office of the Lufthansa airline company in Ukraine with a request to immediately facilitate the return of Ukrainian citizens to Ukraine.
