The U.S. Justice Department initiated the proceedings against John Kalymon, who officials said was a member of the Nazi-sponsored Ukrainian Auxiliary Police in occupied Lvov, Ukraine, during World War II, Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer of the Justice Department's Criminal Division said Monday in a news release.The charging document was filed Thursday in U.S. Immigration Court in Detroit.
