You're reading: Update: Shots fired at billionaire’s residence in downtown Kyiv

A reporter from Kyiv-based newspaper "Left Bank" reported on Feb. 2 that gunshots were fired at about 10:20am during a clash between security guards and unidentified men dressed in black that were trying to forcefully enter a building located on 3-A Yaroslaviv Val Street.

A secretary for billionaire businessmen Serhiy Taruta, a co-founder and co-owner of leading Ukrainian steel group Industrial Union of Donbass, told the Kyiv Post that the building at hand is a residence-office for her boss. She said that Taruta was not immediately available for comment.
