A new ambassador of the United States to Ukraine will be appointed soon, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Vasyl Kyrylych has said.
“The official notice about the appointment of a new U.S. ambassador to Ukraine will be published soon,” he said on Tuesday. Some sources expect John F. Tefft, most recently the U.S. ambassador in Georgia, to get the appointment.
