Presidential spokeswoman Iryna Vannykova has submitted a letter of resignation, she told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
She also said that today she had been offered a post at the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting. However, Vannykova said she had rejected the post.
"I took a deliberate decision – to remain in the team of current Ukrainian President] Viktor Yuschenko," she said.
Vannykova also said that she linked democratic changes in Ukraine only to Yuschenko.
