Lonely men can now learn secrets of seduction from a 24-year-old “master” at special courses starting from Hr 1,000. Women have their own special course to learn the art.
Do not cave in to her. Do not call her more than she calls you. Do not do more for her than she does for you. Do not pay for her more than she pays for you. Do not love her more than she loves you.
These are some of the main rules of professional pick-up artists. Now, everyone can go to school to learn these and more lessons of love and lust. PickArt Center in Kyiv (http://pickart.com.ua), is open for training. (But courses are only taught in Russian, for now.)
For acquiring the secrets of seduction, any Ukrainian man or woman can pay from Hr 1,000 to Hr 5,000 for a group training or Hr 500 for one personal lesson. Of course, some may need more training than others.
But Anton Golovnya, a 24-year-old pick-up coach at PickArt Center, makes this fantastic claim that is bound to raise the spirits of all men – no matter how old, short, fat, balding, boring, slovenly or poor they may be:
“Any man can seduce any woman to sex in five minutes,” Golovnya, a gangly, dark-haired man with an easy smile, boasts. “I did it and I can teach any man to do it.”
Despite looking like an overly-confident school graduate at his first job interview, Golovnya says he’s picked up so many women on Kyiv’s streets or in the clubs that he cannot remember how many. “I can name only those 40 [in three years] who I took seriously,” Golovnya said.
For Golovnya’s expert group lessons (8 to 40 men in each class), one should pay between Hr 2,000 – 5,000 per month. The next pick-up training (in Russian) at PickArt Center starts on Aug. 22. “Each student signs a contract, according to which, we have to teach him how to pick up any girl he wants. We guarantee the results. Our center is legal. We pay taxes,” Golovnya said.
Each man’s pick-up training includes theoretical and practical aspects.
“First we tell our students the main principles of pick-up. We teach how to select clothes in a right way, correct their manners of walk so that they could whet any woman only with tones of their voices. There is a special team of pick-up artists who help our clients,” Golovnya said. “After that we start a practical part in the center of Kyiv. Each student has a task. There are a lot of practical tasks from getting any girl’s phone number, including those who are with their boyfriends, kissing her in two hours and, finally, making love with her. During the very first practical tasks, we follow our students from a distance and shoot all he does on camera to show him his mistakes and work on them later.”
If it all sounds too good to be true, well, it is.
Recently, Golovnya lost a woman to her ex-boyfriend. Of course, “guru” Golovnya found another one, but he also had the experience of rejection. “When one out of 10 women says ‘goodbye’ to you, it is a victory for a beginner. But not for a professional.”
The men’s sessions have been offered for only about four years, with more than 1,000 paid participants, Golovnya said. The women’s classes started only a couple years ago, with more than 150 clients.
Ukrainian women who want to hone their skills in the art of the pick-up can go to Anna Ryzhenko, coordinator of Margarytka Center.
One graduate swears by the methods.
Last December, 30-year-old Victoria Akimova completed a course at Margarytka Center near Obolon metro station.
“I always felt the lack of femininity. That is where the root of my problem was.” Akimova said. “It seemed to me I had a very small bust and a bad figure.”
While her physique hasn’t change, her attitude has.
To improve her self-image, Akimova paid Hr 950 per eight-hour group session with seven other women. “After the training, I was having fun choosing men on the streets I wanted to talk to. I did what I was taught to do and 85 percent of them came up to me. I had dates every day. I was counting those whom I managed to seduce up to sex and then refused them. I can name 19 victories in 2 ½ months.”
Among her best and quickest conquests, Akimova names a man whom she was able to seduce “after a 20-minute talk.”
The school thinks it is filling a void in the lives of Ukrainian women.
“We do not practice on guinea-pig men. A successful family life in the future is the only one true practice for women,” Ryzhenko said.
There are no special rules at women’s training. “Rules are for men. We emphasize intuition and sensuality, and talk about the soft spots of men. Glance, voice, gestures, motion and sex are among those important things true women should play with,” Ryzhenko said. “First you should look at a man’s eyes with love. Imagine how you kiss him, touch his cheeks with your lips. You have to imagine this clearly looking at his eyes. It would be enough to motivate him to come up to you.”
Some women looking for sex found soulmates instead. “In Ukraine, unfortunately, there are women with no complexes and with no personal life. There were cases when women came to us just to get to know how to pick up men for sex and found men for life,” Ryzhenko said.
While older men commonly take Golovnya’s personal lessons, women of different professions, ages and income mix together in one group.
“Girls aged 19 – 23 want to learn how to be sexy, take lessons on voice and [body language]. Women after 25 want to find men for life. Married women are also welcome. Their aims are to find ways to change something in their family lives for the better,” Ryzhenko said.
As for men, “there are three types of ‘pick-uppers’ depending on their experience,” Golovnya said. “For beginners quantity is the main thing. He needs to pick up so many girls. Then he needs to clear a hurdle from quantity to quality. The master chooses only the best girls and goes out with all of them in turn. The best ‘pick-upper’ is called a guru. He has already found his one and only woman for life but can pick up any woman any time just to stay in shape. Many of my VIP married clients come to me just to find new ways of seducing their own wives again and again so as not to let other ‘pick-uppers’ do it. Many ex-boyfriends of my girlfriends call me, shout at me and threaten me. But when they calm down I explain that it is not me who did something wrong. It is [the men] who failed to do the right things for their girlfriends, whom I managed to seduce.”
And if clients don’t succeed after the first sessions, Golovnya and Ryzhenko will be more than glad to take their tuition money for repeat lessons.
