More than 9,300 people have been killed in eastern Ukraine between mid-April 2014 and May 15, 2016, according to the latest UN report on the human rights situation in Ukraine. The conflict killed 9,371 people, while injuring 21,532 others among Ukrainian armed forces, civilians and armed group members, said Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Ivan Simonovic as he presented the findings in Kyiv on June 3.
