Leader of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovych doesn't rule out attempts by the current authorities to disrupt the presidential elections, scheduled for January 17, 2010.
“That team are such cynics. They use all means,” he told reporters in Luhansk region on Saturday answering a question about the possibility of the presidential election disruption scenario.
However, Yanukovych said that if those who are in power do not listen to the people’s will, “people will oust them from their offices together with the chairs.”
In his words, “the longer those who are in power keep to their chairs, the more they persuade people that they should be deprived of the power.”
