Ukraine’s oppositional Regions Party Leader Viktor Yanukovych has offered to return to strategic planning of state development for five and more years.

“Ukraine has grown up, and its time we should make long-term plans of our life… We should have strategic plans starting from five year plans, and proceeding to ten and fifteen years,” he said in an interview with reporters in Odesa on Saturday.

According to Yanukovych, the strategic planning is an indispensible condition of stability.
