Leader of NGO Front for Change Arseniy Yatseniuk has registered the Front for Change trademark in three classes (classes 16, 35 and 41), in particular, print form, stationary goods, advertising, education and entertainment.
The Vedomosti newspaper reported that according to the Ukrainian
Institute of Industrial Property (Ukrpatent), the application of
Yatseniuk was submitted in December 2008 and approved in the end of
September 2009.
Yatseniuk registered the Front for Change trademark in Ukrainian and Russian.
According to the data of Ukrpatent, the registration of the
Tymoshenko trademark on the application of Prime Minister Yulia
Tymoshenko took less time: the application was submitted in the middle
of July 2009 and in the end of August it was approved.
The Tymoshenko trademark was registered on four classes: the three
first classes coincide with the first three classes of the registered
Front for Change trademark, and the fourths is class 38 (television
broadcasting, news agencies, services of telephone information
agencies, internet chats etc.)
According to Ukrpatent, this is the first trademark registered by Tymoshenko.
Current Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has many more
trademarks: the Yuschenko’s Bloc, Viktor Yuschenko, Yuschenko, V.
Yuschenko, For Yuschenko, Our Ukraine Bloc, Yuschenko’s Bloc of Our
Ukraine, Our Ukraine Election Bloc of Viktor Yuschenko and the famous
picture with the sun. Most of them were registered in 2002-2005 and the
applicant had to wait for some of them for more than three years.
