Leader of NGO Front of Changes Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Ukraine has a chance to become a leading geopolitical player in modern society.
He made the comment in his article entitled “The main thing is not
to lose the chance” published in the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper,
the organization’s press service reported.
Yatseniuk said that amid the crisis that countries had faced in
recent years, the United States had started losing its leading
positions in the geopolitical arena.
“Countries that hope for support from the United States will be left
with nothing, as the international hegemony disappeared with the
emergence of the crisis. However, hopes that other states will soon
occupy the place of the world’s master are also vain. After learning
from the bitter experience of U.S. [domination], the world will never
again allow monopolistic rule over itself by any other state,” he said.
