New York, September 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has once again said that Ukraine and the United States are strategic partners and their dialog needs more a broader agenda.
He was speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York on Monday.
“We certainly view our relations with the United States as strategic, as relations of great friends,” he noted.
The Ukrainian president stressed that the two
countries are communicating absolutely openly and are frankly speaking
about the issues they are interested in.
Yuschenko reminded that Ukraine and the United
States signed a cooperation road map for 2009-2010 and stressed that
the two countries are interested in having broader agenda of their
strategic relations.
