Sept. 29, Volodymyr Lytvyn has called on the branches of power to stop criticizing each other’s work. The speaker was commenting on Yushchenko’s office statement that the present stalemate in VR is threatening Ukraine’s security.
“I’m saying yet again that the business of the presidential office is to prepare documents and submit them to the president, not to come up with evaluations,” Lytvyn stressed.
Lytvyn then admitted that all branches of power in their present condition (the president, cabinet and Verkhovna Rada) pose a threat to the country’s security. All these branches contributed to the present chaos in Ukraine, and that is why we should stop bashing each other, the speaker said.
