MEPs on the International Trade Committee have given their backing to a further €1.8 billion in EU financial support for Ukraine, during a meeting on March 19. The funding, put forward by the Commission in January, would be the biggest ever single package of loans the EU has ever granted to a country outside the 28-member bloc.
