DTEK energy holding continues to supply coal to Ukraine's power plants from the war-torn zone, the press service of DTEK has informed Interfax-Ukraine.

“As of September 7, the company has not stopped anthracite deliveries to power stations from the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone. Over the week from August 31 to September 6 anthracite and semi-anthracite coal supplies from the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone totaled 80,000 tonnes,” the press service said.

As reported, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic has announced that coal supplies to Ukraine from the territories under its control would be halted, citing the fact that Ukraine from July stopped the delivery of spare parts and diesel fuel to the territory controlled by the Donetsk People’s Republic.
