ANKARA - Turkish President Recep Erdogan has proposed looking for ways to settle the Ukrainian crisis on the basis of international law and with due account taken of the Minsk accords.
“The Ukrainian crisis must be resolved on the basis of international law and with the observance of all agreements and the Minsk accords,” he said at a media conference on Monday after Russian-Turkish summit talks in Ankara.
Moscow and Ankara “have a common opinion on this issue,” the Turkish president said.
Erdogan also said that Russian-Turkish relations are “based on mutual trust.”
“We hope our relations will bring benefits to the entire region and will guarantee peace and tranquility,” he said.
