Baku - Azerbaijan says it does not recognize the elections in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.

“Azerbaijan consistently supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and therefore does not recognize any so-called elections held on the territory of this country without the consent of the central administration,” Azeri Foreign Ministry official Khikmet Gadzhiyev told Interfax.

The elections in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics were held on Nov. 2.
