A press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine has announced having reached agreements with militias over a ceasefire in and around Debaltseve and on parts of the roads between Debaltseve and Vuhlehirsk and between Debaltseve and Artemivsk during the daytime for civilian evacuation on Feb. 6-7.

“Last night the joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire and stabilization of the dividing line reached agreements over a ceasefire on Feb. 6-7 near the city of Debaltseve (from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.). And on parts of the Debaltseve-Vuhlehirsk and Debaltseve-Artemivsk roads (from 8 a.m. till 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m.). The main purpose of the agreements is to evacuate civilians from Debaltseve into the towns of Artemivsk and Vuhlehirsk,” the press center said on its Facebook on Feb. 6.

At 3 p.m. shelling continued of Ukrainian army positions along the dividing line, the press center said.

Debaltseve continues to remain the most tense area. According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy has been firing mortars, grenades, artillery at several populated areas since this morning, including Troitske, Ridkodub, Debaltseve, Sanzharivka, Mius, Chernukyne. Rockets were fired at Debaltseve, Nova Hryhorivka, Popasna, the press center said.
