A total of 108 members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed while leaving Ilovaisk in late Aug., said Ukraine's Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey.
“There is no secret about how many troops were killed there (near Ilovaisk): 108 members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed while leaving Ilovaisk,” the minister told reporters in Kyiv on Oct. 3.
The Defense Ministry has no information about fatalities in other battalions that are part of the National Guard and the Interior Ministry, Heletey said.
