Moscow - The trilateral Contact Group for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine has tentatively set its next meeting in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, for next week, Denys Pushylin, chief negotiator of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), told on Nov. 14.

“It is expected to happen next week. We are now discussing an exact date,” he said.

The agenda for the upcoming meeting may be dominated by new steps toward a peace settlement and conditions for POW exchanges between the parties, Pushylin said.

“POW exchanges remain in a “frozen state”. They may be resumed after the Minsk talks, at which this topic will be discussed. We will also discuss a new peaceful settlement protocol,” he said.
