Unidentified individuals seized the post of electric centralization at the Sloviansk train station on May 2, paralyzing the movement of trains at the Lozova-Yasynuvata section, Donetsk Railways has reported.
According to the report, railroad points are not switching and the lights are not working. In addition, the voltage was turned off in the contact system from the Lozova station to the Yasynuvata station.
As a result, some trains are changing their routes, whereas local trains at the Lozova-Yasynuvata section will move with the help of shunting locomotives.
Donetsk Railways added that passenger, commuter and freight trains would not run at this section due to the absence of the voltage in the contact system.
