Donetsk - A convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations' Ministry delivered humanitarian aid to Donetsk on Sunday, Nov. 16, deputy chief of the ministry's national crisis management center Oleg Voronov has told Interfax.
“Over 50 vehicles have arrived in Donetsk delivering over 350 tonnes of cargo. There were no emergencies on the way. The vehicles are in working condition,” he said.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the center managing the reconstruction of Donbas told Interfax that the convoy from Russia arrived at the unloading destination in Donetsk. “We have counted 54 vehicles, 32 of them have driven to the terminal for unloading,” he said to an Interfax correspondent.
Early reports indicate that the unloading of trucks with power equipment has started.
