Five defenders of the Donetsk airport sustained injuries on Nov. 13 during a planned rotation of the Ukrainian troops, the anti-terrorist operation press center reported.
“During a delivery of food and when the planned rotation of the personal staff was running, five defenders of the Donetsk airport were injured. Militants on the sly shelled our column of the military machinery with large-caliber machine guns, automatic grenade launchers and sniper rifles,” a press center said on a Facebook page.
According to the report, as of 5.30 p.m. the militants 24 times violated the ceasefire conditions.
Thus, by day illegal armed formations many times shelled Ukrainian checkpoints near the town of Krasnohorivka, shelled population areas of this town, as well as fired on the ATO positions in the town of Vuhlehirsk.
The tense situation remains on Bakhmutka highway, where during the day the militants repeatedly fired on the Ukrainian military units with Grad multiple rocket launchers and mortars.
Moreover, the Ukrainian soldiers, who fulfill military tasks near Stanytsia Luhanska, have been also shelled today.
