BERLIN - The leaders of the G7 countries plan to set up a group of support for Ukraine, according to a final declaration released on June 8 on the results of the G7 summit in Germany.

“We reaffirm our commitment to working together with the international financial institutions and other partners to provide financial and technical support as Ukraine moves forward with its transformation,” reads the declaration, which went on to say that they will task the G7 Ambassadors in Kyiv with establishing a Ukraine support group.

“Its task will be to advance Ukraine’s economic reform process through coordinated advice and assistance,” reads the declaration.
