You're reading: Kremlin dismisses Obama’s accusations over Ukrainian crisis

MOSCOW - The Kremlin has rejected the allegation by the United States President, Barack Obama that Russia is behind the military conflict in Ukraine.

 “Total disagreement can be the only reaction to it. We have repeatedly rejected these reports,” Russian President Dmitry Peskov told the Russian News Service on Aug. 29.

Obama said a day earlier that the responsibility for the escalation in east Ukraine lies with Russia.
