Munich – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with German Vice Chancellor and Economics and Energy Minister Sigmar Gabriel on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.
While greeting Lavrov, Gabriel jokingly complained to him that he had to wake up at 4 o’clock in the morning on Saturday and at 1 o’clock in the morning on Friday. “I’ve slept only three hours over these days in order to meet you,” Gabriel said, making Lavrov smile.
The meeting passed behind closed doors.
