Moscow - The administration of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic is ready to participate in peace talks with Kyiv in any format that will help achieve real peace in the region, Vladislav Deinego, a LPR representative in the negotiations of the contact group, told Interfax.

“We will accept any format of negotiations that will help achieve real
results in the peaceful settlement in Donbas. We are ready to participate in
such negotiations and we expect a response from Ukraine,” he said.

Deinego said the Minsk negotiation format still remains vital to the militia.
In any case, some results of these negotiations are visible. Our purpose is to
bring peace to our land, if not fast, but gradually,” he said.

Commenting on yesterday’s meeting between the LPR administration and the
center on control and coordination of the observance of the Minsk agreements,
Deinego said its participants had found points of contact.

“During the meeting, we discussed the differences in the approaches to the
observance of the Minsk memorandum on both sides and agreed to take them into
account when working on a common document. We plan to prepare it in the nearest
future. It should suit both sides,” Deinego said.
