Moscow - Russia is always open to continuing cooperation with its Western partners both in Europe and in the U.S., Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
“We have nobody to argue with, we are not quarrelling with anyone, and we are always ready and open to continue our relations with Europe, the United States of America, and other countries,” Medvedev said in an interview with leading Russian TV channels on Wednesday when asked about his opinion on the cooling-down in relations with the Western countries and the future of these relations.
“Certainly, Russia is a part of Europe and a part of European civilization, and nothing even can be added here,” Medvedev said.
“We haven’t rowed with anyone on purpose and haven’t declared war on anyone, and therefore there is no reason to return to a peaceful path of development because we haven’t quarreled with anyone. It’s they who are trying to quarrel with us,” he said.
