You're reading: Militants again shelling Ukrainian army positions

Militants have conducted 85 attacks on army positions in the past 24 hours, including by use of Grad rocket launchers, the anti-terrorist operation press center has said.

“The Donetsk sector remains the epicenter of tensions. Fifty-two bombardments of our positions have been observed there,” the press center wrote on Facebook on June 22 morning.

It also said that after midnight militants shelled Ukrainian army positions in Krymske and Zolote in Luhansk region using various types of grenade launchers.

Bohuslavske, a town near Artemivsk, came under mortar fire. Hostile snipers are active in Maryinka, the press center said.

Twenty Grad rockets were fired on Ukrainian army positions in Nyzhne, in Popasna district of Luhansk region, at dawn.
