Ukraine has registered that Russian army hardware is being moved to Donbas areas controlled by the militants and military units are being amassed along the border, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) said.
“The situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been demonstrating a steady deterioration trend. Ukrainian servicemen are recording constant repositioning of Russian military hardware…towards the division line,” NSDC Information Analysis Center speaker Andriy Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, Nov. 13.
He also claimed the ongoing concentration of Russian units, including long-range air defense systems and aviation brigades, along the Ukrainian-Russian frontier.
The Russian Foreign Ministry denied on Thursday, Nov. 13 the alleged Russian military presence in southeastern Ukraine and troops’ crossing into Ukraine.
