Organizers of illegal election on November 2 in some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be prosecuted for the forcible seizure of state power, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) spokesman Volodymyr Poliovy said at a news briefing on Saturday.
‘Law enforcement agencies will present legal evaluation of the fact of holding so-called ‘election.’ Preliminarily, the actions have signs of crime under part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – actions aimed at forcible seizure of state power organized by a group of persons,’ he said.
