NATO is providing political and practical assistance to Ukraine, particularly in reforming the Ukrainian armed forces, but it cannot help Ukraine with arms supplies, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 6, Stoltenberg said NATO does not possess its own weapons, and a decision on whether to supply weapons to Ukraine or not should be made at a national level, i.e. by each individual country, Stoltenberg said.
