The Ukrainian border service and other government bodies have not received official notifications from Russia on its plans to send another humanitarian convoy to the eastern part of Ukraine, Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, said at a news conference in Kyiv on Nov. 25.

“The Ukrainian government bodies have so far not received any official applications on sending a humanitarian convoy,” Lysenko said.

Ukraine is prepared to provide humanitarian assistance to Donbas if it has such a chance, he said.

It was reported earlier that the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry planned to send more than 100 trucks allegedly carrying humanitarian cargo to the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics by Sunday, November 30. Half of the trucks would go to Luhansk and the other half to Donetsk.
