You're reading: Over 260 OSCE monitors deployed in Ukraine – Foreign Ministry

There were 261 members of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, including 112 in Donbas, as of Nov. 17, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

“As of November 17, there were 261 monitors of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission from 39 countries in Ukraine, including 112 in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions,” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a press conference on Nov. 18.

In particular, 29 of these monitors are citizens of the U.S., 18 Russia, 17 Germany, 14 the United Kingdom, and 14 Sweden, he said.
