President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.
“Discussing the situation in Donbas, Petro Poroshenko and Robert Fico have noted the absence of significant de-escalation, which has also been confirmed by the OSCE SMM reports,” the presidential press service has reported.
Fico said that Slovakia, as a responsible state, would further uphold the unity of the European Union regarding sanctions against Russia.
Both leaders also agreed that additional efforts are needed to efficiently implement a peace plan in Donbas.
